RMB Most Interesting Characters Summary for Newbies v8.2

Copyright 2006 by Whosbest54

Part of the fun of RMB is enjoying the various characters and how they interact.  This brief summary of my views of some of the most interesting posters is for newbies.  These are the ones that stand out in my own mind; you may have your own list.  I invite others to add to this list and post their views.

Tom Hartman
Tom (tom@aerovons.com) and his group The Aerovons recorded their album 'Resurrection' at Abbey Road studios while the Beatles were there recording.  They met all of The Beatles numerous times there, and their album was engineered by the Beatles engineers.  Tom talked with George and Paul the most.  You can read more about Tom, his adventure and their album at these sites:

Tom's posts are often short, to the point and about the music.
Lizz Holmans
Lizz (dillo@jackalope.demon.co.uk) is a long time regular who's been posting since 1995.  She's an Oklahoman living in London who loves Beatles music.  She described herself to me in a private email as a "nurse, actor, writer, mother, wife, student of history and general nuisance".  I find her posts to be generally upbeat, clever and humorous.  Her trademark is to sign her posts with a clever or humorous "middle name" in quotes between her first and last name that's related to the post's topic or point.
Saki
This woman really, truly knows the Fabs inside and out.  She's a moderator on RMB.moderated and deservedly so.  I find her posts to be the most intelligent, well researched and informative.  She is one of the most polite and formal posters here as well.  Make a point of looking for her posts.
Francie Schwartz
Francie Schwartz (was posting from Google as somebody@nycmail.com (Francie and other nicknames)) knew and lived among the Fabs, slept and lived with Paul and worked at Apple.  Her posts recalling her Fabs memories are some of the best in RMB.  She is also very controversial and has a number of detractors/enemies.  You can learn more about her public life with a simple Google search for her name:

Also, check out her personal web pages, when available (none available at this time; a link will be posted when available).

She apparently stopped posting to RMB in December, 2005.  I hope she returns soon.  While RMB is a bit more civil without her, it isn't quite as interesting, at least in my opinion.
